Some Important Information About the Design of the Photo Cards
We Now Include Full-Color Process on all our Photo-Cards!
All Photo-Cards are printed on semi-glossy white 80 lb. cover card stock.
Full-Color Process photo-cards are included with each photo package price.
We work with you to match the theme of your event with the Photo-Card.
Client designs are welcome, however please keep the following points in mind when designing the card----
Simple, clean designs work best-try to avoid large areas of solid color as this may "leak" through and be visible from the opposite side of the card.
We accept files via e-mail in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe PageMaker or Photoshop or you may send regular image files such as .bmp, .jpg or .tiff
There are two choices available for the style of the photo-card: "fold-over" style and "book" style.
(Note-"Book" style will be used as the default style if no style is indicated on your booking form.)
The "fold-over" style folds over vertically as illustrated below-There are two spaces available for graphics and informational customization-the space directly above the square where the photo is mounted (card is open) and the space on the outside face when the card is closed. The size of the spaces for the regular size card is approximately 5 inches wide by 4 inches tall.
For the "SuperSize" card the size of the spaces are approximately 6 1/2 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches tall. This style is the most popular, it is great for scapbooking, hanging in lockers, on bulletin boards or on a refrigerator with a magnet!
The "book" style opens right to left as illustrated below. There are two spaces available for graphics and informational customization-the space directly to the left of the photo square where the photo is mounted (card is open) and the space on the outside face when the card is closed. The size of the spaces for the regular size card is approximately 5 inches wide by 4 inches tall. For the "SuperSize" card the size of the spaces are approximately 6 1/2 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches tall. This style will stand on a flat surface like an easel and is useful for display on desktops, mantles and tables.
